A full child health service is available at the surgery. Developmental checks are as follows:
- 6/8 weeks – Health Visitor and GP
Childhood vaccinations are due at:
- 2 months 1 st primary immunisation and rotavirus
- 3 months 2 nd primary immunisation and rotavirus
- 4 months 3 rd primary immunisation
- 12 months Hib/MenC immunisation
- 13 months MMR/Pneumococcal immunisation
- 40 months Preschool booster immunisation
- Girls aged 12 to 13 years old HPV immunisation
- 13-18 years Tetanus, Diphtheria and Poliobooster
Child immunisation clinics are held at Portland Surgery on Tuesday mornings.
The nasal flu immunisation is now being offered during flu season.
